The City of Madisonville’s Mayor and Board of Aldermen will hold a regular monthly Board Meeting beginning at 6:00 pm., on June 2, 2014. The meeting will be in the Board Room of Madisonville City Hall, 400 College Street, North, Madisonville, Tennessee.

The Sweetwater Historic Zoning Commission has rescheduled their regular monthly meeting to June 17, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. at Sweetwater City Hall. All meetings are open to the public. Regular monthly meetings will resume on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in July.

The Town of Tellico Plains will hold its regular monthly board meeting along with the second reading of the 2014-2015 budget ordinance on June 5, at 7 p.m. in the large room at the community center.

In order for Tellico Area Services to serve the public and to comply with regulations set forth by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, all backflow devices must pass an annual test conducted by a person who is both licensed and certified in backflow prevention by the State of Tennessee.

TERMS OF SALE
Sale will be made with terms being: Ten percent (10%) down, either by cash or certified funds, day of sale with the balance being paid upon delivery of Clerk’s Deed. The 1st reading and public hearing of ORDINANCE NO. 14-217-O will take place in the Board Room at Madisonville City Hall at 6:00 pm on June 2, 2014. The ORDINANCE is a proposed rezoning of property located at the intersection of Monroe Street and Main Street, identified on tax records as (MAP-067-D, GRP-A, Parcel 002.00). The property owner is requesting that the property be rezoned from a M-1 Industrial District to a C-2 Central Business District. The Monroe County Regional Planning Commission approved the proposed rezoning during the regular monthly meeting in May 2014.
